Exodus 9:15-16 (NIV): "For by now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people with a plague that would have wiped you off the earth. But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."
I am a little curious, if the plague on livestock killed all the Egyptians' livestock, how the subsequent plagues of boils and hail then hurt and kill the Egyptians' livestock, which I thought were all gone. Though I suppose they could have seized some from the Israelites or someone else. I'm also guessing this took place over a much longer period of time than it sounds when reading through it quickly? (I found a Jewish site that said the plagues took place over one year, though I didn't get that from the text.)

I have the same question, Alison. How can you completely wipe out herds more than once?
