To all my sweet friends who are reading through the Bible in a year with me....we are on the home stretch! I am so grateful to have shared this year with you. We have been reflecting in our past couple of meetings as to how this discipline has been a blessing to us. It has been a rich year in God's Word. I have never read through the Bible at such a fast pace and it has been difficult! But the encouragement from Tiffany and the accountability of knowing others are doing it with me helped tremendously. There were many times I fell behind, but at Tiffany's encouragement to hop back in, I did! There is benefit to reading at a slower pace and ingesting more fully, but every so often, it is really important to step back and get the big picture of God's Word by reading it straight through cover to cover and being able to see clearly how salvation by grace is revealed from the beginning to the end. This has been the big picture year--thank you all for helping me get that!
The Word of God is powerful! What a wonderful challenge to soak in deep this year.
Such a delight to meet you! I hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a great place to slip off my shoes and wade into His goodness.
